Event Information

Gather your team and join Ball for Better, a three-on-three basketball tournament fundraiser supporting Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey. This is a fun, competitive event supporting a great cause, complete with chances to win standout prizes. 




Prizes:
  • Winning Team: 3 $90 VISA gift cards
  • Biggest Donors: Autographed game worn Harris Barnes basketball shoes ($150 minimum), a photo autographed by New York Knicks guard Pacome Dadiet ($50 minimum), & a basketball autographed by Rutgers's Mens basketball head coach Steve Pikiell ($100 minimum). (*Please indicate on the donation form which item you are interested in)

Rules:
  • Single Elimination games
  • Regular Season: games are twenty minutes long and played to fifteen points
  • Playoffs: games are twenty five minutes long and played to twenty one points. 

Schedule:
  • 4pm-5pm: Regular Season
  • 5:15pm-6:30pm: Playoffs

All proceeds for this fundraiser support Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to helping build brighter futures for children by promoting family wellness, positive parenting, healthy child development and nurturing communities. As the New Jersey state chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America, Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey aims to help transform New Jersey homes and schools into nurturing, trauma-informed environments.
