The Fournier’s First Responders Memorial Pickleball Fundraiser brings the community together to honor fallen first responders and support the families they leave behind. This inaugural event benefits the OneGoat Foundation and Colorado’s Bravest, a new giving designation under Revital Colorado created to provide direct financial support–especially funeral expenses–to families of firefighters, EMS, law enforcement, and dispatchers who have lost a loved one.

Through sport, community, and generosity, this event helps ensure no first responder family faces overwhelming financial hardship during the most difficult moments of their lives.

More play, less waiting. Expect maximum court time with thoughtfully spaced breaks, so you’re competing for most of the event—not sitting around.

Pickleball Divisions & Bracket Details

Competitive Divisions

For experienced players
DUPR-based for balanced, competitive play

Social/For-Fun Divisions

Open to beginners and casual players
No pickleball experience required
Paddles and balls provided if needed

Kids Court

For children ages 14 and under
Learn, play, and have fun

Final brackets and schedules will be set based on registrations to ensure fair and enjoyable play for all skill levels. Indicate your team's skill level at registration and include DUPR rating(s) for players who have them.

Fundraising Proceeds

This memorial event is held in honor of fallen firefighter Ben Fournier, who tragically lost his life in April 2023. Ben was a dedicated member of Mountain View Fire Rescue and a loving husband and father to three small children. His sudden passing was a profound loss, and one that underscores the harsh reality many first responder families face: the tragedy is often compounded by immediate financial strain. In the wake of Ben’s death, Revital Colorado and OneGoat Foundation stepped in to support the Fournier family, helping cover funeral expenses and provide critical financial relief during an unimaginably painful time. In just the past year, these organizations have responded to multiple similar losses within Colorado’s first responder community–underscoring the urgent need for sustained, localized support. Colorado’s Bravest was created to meet that need. This event marks the official launch of that commitment, honoring Ben’s legacy by ensuring future families receive timely, meaningful support when tragedy strikes.
