Friday night at Crew Rink will celebrate hockey at every level, with skills competitions, scrimmages and a special send-off for our hometown Warriors.

Saturday brings everyone together for the event that started it all: the Jake Haapajoki Memorial Cup outdoor hockey tournament.
Teams will take to the ice across three outdoor rinks for a day of hockey, community and fun — all in Jake’s memory and in support of a cause that means so much to our community.

Smiles for Jake is a nonprofit suicide prevention movement dedicated to spreading hope, building meaningful connections, and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health. Founded in memory of Jake Haapajoki, the organization provides mental health and suicide prevention education, community resources, outreach programs, and events designed to remind people that they are not alone. Through its S.M.I.L.E. (Supporting, Mentoring, Inspiring Life in Everyone) programs and community initiatives, Smiles for Jake equips individuals with practical tools to recognize when someone may be struggling, offer support, and help connect them with resources.
